This post shows you how to cook easy and simple Japanese Chicken curry with rice cooker!!
Good thing about this recipe is that there's NO Cooking required!! Just put everything in the rice cooker, and leave it, and done!! Great for your busy weeknight dinner!!

[Ingredients] (GRAM)
-Chicken thigh 650g
-Salt 5g (1tsp)
-Black pepper
-Onion 500g
-Carrot 200g
-Potato 300g
-Apple 200g
-Water 300ml
-Kombu / Dried kelp 5g (Or MSG 2g)
-Japanese Curry roux 70g (4 servings)
[Ingredients] (OUNCE)
-Chicken thigh 1.43lb (22.93oz)
-Salt 0.18oz (1tsp)
-Black pepper
-Onion 17.64oz
-Carrot 7.05oz
-Potato 10.58oz
-Apple 7.05oz
-Water 10.58oz
-Kombu / Dried kelp 0.18oz (Or MSG 0.07oz)
-Japanese Curry roux 2.47oz (4 servings)
[Instruction]
Cut onion into 1-2cm strips
Cut carrot and potato into chunks
Grate apple
Put everything into a rice cooker
Add water and kombu, and give it a mix
Cut chicken into bite size pieces
Season the chicken with salt and pepper
Add the chicken and curry roux in the rice cooker
Cook on Plain white rice mode
Once it's cooked, give it a mix, and serve
[Tip]
It's good to add some baby spinach at the end or sprinkle some cheese on top.
Also, you can sweap potato to reasonable amount of mushrooms (Your favourite type).
It adds diferent dimention of umami to the dish.
